The Lost Generation.
The Museum of Lost Generation Art presents an extraordinary private collection of artworks by artists of the so-called Lost Generation. These artists were born around the turn of the century in what was then the German Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy or the eastern territories bordering the Russian Empire. Their artistic activities were severely restricted by the National Socialist regime and they were ostracised as "degenerate". For this reason, most of these artists are unknown to a wider audience.
