This website is operated by Prof. Dr. Heinz R. Böhme Charitable Foundation Salzburg ("we" or "us"). This notice describes how we, as the data controller, process your personal data in connection with this website.

 

1. What data we process about you

During your visit to this website, we will collect the following information: the date and time you accessed a page on our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you visited before accessing this website, certain cookies (see point 2 below) and any information you provide yourself, e.g. by filling out the contact form. There is no obligation to actually provide the data we ask you to provide on our website. However, if you do not do so, you will not be able to use all the functions of the website.

 

2. Cookies

3. Purposes of data processing

We will process your personal data for the following purposes:
– to provide you with this website and to further improve and develop it;
– to generate usage statistics;
– to detect, prevent and investigate attacks on our website;
– and, if applicable, to respond to your inquiries.

 

4. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation), which consists of achieving the purposes mentioned above in point 3.

 

5. Transfer of your personal data

For the purposes mentioned above, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients: – IT service providers employed by us; Some of the above recipients may be located outside your country or may process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries that the EU Commission has decided have an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection. To this end, we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC), for example. These are available on request at museum@verlorene-generation.com.

 

6. Duration of storage

We will generally store your data for a period of three months. Longer storage will only take place if necessary to investigate detected attacks on our website.

 

8. Your rights in relation to personal data

Among other things, you have the right (subject to the conditions of applicable law) (i) to check whether and what personal data we have stored about you and to obtain copies of this data, (ii) to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law, (iii) to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, and (iv) under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw your previously given consent to processing for the future, (v) to request data portability, (vi) to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, and (vii) lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
